Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription or a pre-order. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.

 

Pre-Order Payment Policy

Effective Date: 01/01/2026

Kay Florist requires full payment at the time of purchase for all pre-orders placed through our Shopify website.

By placing a pre-order, you agree to the terms outlined below.


What Is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order is any order placed in advance for:

  • Holiday deliveries

  • Custom floral arrangements

  • Event florals (corporate, weddings, funerals, showers, parties)

  • Subscription deliveries scheduled for future dates


Payment Requirement

  • Full payment is required at checkout to secure all pre-orders

  • Orders will not be scheduled, designed, or reserved without payment

  • Pre-orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis


Inventory & Scheduling

Pre-orders allow us to:

  • Secure flowers and supplies in advance

  • Schedule design and delivery resources

  • Guarantee availability for high-demand dates

Failure to submit full payment may result in cancellation of the order.


Cancellations & Refunds

  • Pre-orders canceled before flowers or supplies are ordered may be eligible for a refund at our discretion

  • Once flowers are ordered or preparation has begun, pre-orders are non-refundable

  • Holiday pre-orders follow all posted holiday cut-off and final-sale policies


Event Pre-Orders

For event services:

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure event dates

  • Remaining balances must be paid by the deadline stated in the event agreement

  • Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of services


Pricing & Availability

  • Prices are subject to change based on market conditions

  • Pre-order pricing reflects seasonal demand and availability

  • Early bird or promotional pricing is available for a limited time only


Agreement

By completing a pre-order purchase on our Shopify website, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Full payment is required upfront

  • Pre-orders are subject to availability

  • All applicable refund, cancellation, and holiday policies apply

 

 

Purchase Options & Subscription Cancellation Policy

Kay Florist offers both one-time purchases and subscription-based purchase options. By selecting a purchase option at checkout, you agree to the terms outlined below.


Purchase Options

Customers may choose from:

  • One-Time Purchases – A single floral order for a selected delivery date

  • Subscription Purchases – Recurring floral deliveries billed automatically at the selected frequency

Purchase options and pricing are clearly displayed on each product page.


Subscription Billing & Authorization

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Kay Florist to:

  • Charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis

  • Process payments automatically according to your chosen delivery schedule

Subscriptions remain active until canceled by the customer.


Subscription Changes, Skips & Pauses

Customers may manage subscriptions by:

  • Skipping individual deliveries

  • Pausing future deliveries

  • Updating delivery dates or preferences

Important Timing Rules

  • All subscription changes must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled billing date

  • Changes made after the billing cut-off will apply to the next delivery cycle


Subscription Cancellations

  • Subscriptions may be canceled at any time before the next billing date

  • Cancellations made after billing has occurred will apply to future deliveries only

  • Processed or delivered subscription orders are non-refundable


Non-Refundable Subscription Charges

Once a subscription order has been billed and processing has begun:

  • The charge is final

  • No refunds or credits will be issued

  • The delivery will proceed as scheduled

This policy applies to standard and holiday subscription deliveries.


Holiday Subscription Deliveries

During major floral holidays (including Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day):

  • Subscription deliveries will proceed automatically unless skipped prior to the holiday billing cut-off

  • Holiday subscription orders are final once processed


One-Time Purchase Cancellations

One-time orders:

  • Must be canceled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date

  • Orders canceled after this window may not be eligible for a refund


Agreement

By selecting a purchase option and completing checkout, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Subscription billing is recurring and automatic

  • Cancellation deadlines apply

  • Processed orders are non-refundable
